Itinerary

After pick-up from your house / hotel , you will board a 150-seater boat for the one hour long journey to Corregidor island.

Once upon Corregidor island, that is only 6 km long and 2.4 km at its widest point but of strategic importance in the harbor defences of Manila during World War II, board a pre-war type street cars called “tramvias” for touring around the island.

Heavily bombarded by Japanese forces during the second part of the war Corregidor island is one of the most historical sites in the Philippines with an occupied history dating back to the 1500’s.  It’s bulbous head was the nerve center of the island during the war. The tour includes points of interest such as the gun batteries, Mile Long Barracks, the Pacific War Memorial and the Malinta Tunnel where you will experience a 30 minute light and sound presentation of the events that took place on the island (Note_due to darkness and volume this show is not suitable for small children). The Tunnel was the last stronghold of the joint Philippine and American military forces.

Buffet lunch is served, after which you will be guided back to the ferry terminal for the boat ride back to Manila. Our private chauffeur driven car will conveniently await you upon arrival to drive you back to your home or hotel.
