|3. CAN I GET TRANSPORTATION FROM THE AIRPORT TERMINALS ?|
Yes, you may either choose a regular Metered Taxi , Coupon Taxi or use the shuttle bus service.
Metered taxis are yellow colored . Rates are based on the taxi's meter. Flagdown rate is subject to change but approx. P70.00 and P4.00 after every 300 meters. For example: taxi cost from the airport to Makati City is about Php 200 pesos compared to the fixed rate of the coupon taxi of P440.
The Coupon Taxi (also called the Airport Taxi) has fixed rates, is larger and can comfortably accommodate 4 medium sized luggage or more and is a good option for a group of travellers that wish to stay together.

|6. WHERE COULD I LEAVE LUGGAGE ?|
See the luggage restriction of smaller domestic aircraft, you might opt to leave some kilos behind. Only NAIA offers an “Interline Baggage Room”. Telephone no. (+632) 877 11 09 local 3633. Located in the arrival area at carrousel. Php 150 per 20 kilo per piece per day. Php 200 per piece per day above 20 kilo.
|7. DO I NEED TO RECONFIRM MY DOMESTIC FLIGHT ?|
Actually no need. But to be sure about the final schedule we highly recommend to reconfirm your continuing or return reservation, where you stop does exceed seventy-two (72) hours. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of reservation. Especially on Peak dates.
|8. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY I PAY INSURANCE FOR MY TICKET ?|
Since September 11, 2001, airlines worldwide could no longer cover war risk with their insurance brokers. They therefore came up with an additional charge to be born by the passenger, called “war risk tax / insurance”.
|9. WHAT IS AVIATION SECURITY FEE ?|
|Applies only for the airline segment originating from any other airport than Manila. Generally only Php 15.00 plus 12% VAT per segment, collected by the airline upon purchasing your domestic ticket.|
|10. IS THERE A TERMINAL FEE ?|
Effective 01August,2012 Terminal fees for flights originating Manila will be paid upon purchase of airline ticket.
For domestic flights it is Php 200 (Manila, Cebu and Davao) per person. For smaller airports the amount applies Php 15, 35 or 45. For International departure Php 550.00 per person.
|11. AGAIN ANOTHER (FUEL) SURCHARGE ?|
|Effective end of 2004 all local airlines imposed a fuel surcharge when flying within The Philippines. In line with their international counterparts, they chose not to incorporate this in their rates.
|12. What is 10% and 12% VAT?|
|The increase in the prices of oil products lead to the implementation of 10% VAT on all domestic airline and sea tickets starting November 1, 2005 under Republic Act 9337( Consolidated VAT Regulations of 2005). Effective February 1, 2006, the 10% VAT is increased to 12% as mandated by the VAT Reform Law.|
|13. WHAT IS TRAVEL TAX, HOW MUCH AND TO WHOM DOES IT APPLY ?|
|Payment of Philippine travel tax is imposed by law for all Filipino Passport holders, returning resident (immigration status 13 A,B,C,D,E,G) , Recognized Filipino Citizens (RFC) & Permanent Residents (immigration status RA 7919 & RA 7837), as well as other nationalities staying longer than one (1) year in The Philippines.
It must be paid only upon leaving The Philippines. It is charged by the airline on top of the purchase price of your international ticket. Foreign nationalities may therefore be requested by their travel agent or airline to show their passport with visa status, or in its absence, the latest stamp of arrival in The Philippines.
The amount is Php 1,620.00 per adult.
|14. WHAT IS THE DATE TO CANCEL AN AIRLINE RESERVATION WITHOUT PENALTY ?|
|Once you finalized your reservation with us, airlines do always charge for cancellation. The exact charge varies per supplier, booking class used (promo classes for example are completely non refundable) and per how much time in advance you cancelled. Generally, cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to estimated departure time are charged between Php 672 to Php 1344 per passenger per sector, subject to change.
If you fail to cancel more than 24 hours, ticket is automatically forfeited.
|15. CAN I CHANGE MONEY UPON ARRIVAL ?|
NAIA Terminal - Yes, various banks have offices there.
|16. I GOT A REPLY FOR MY BOOKING AND THERE IS AN OPTION GIVEN, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?|
An OPTION is the deadline given by the supplier for you to purchase (pay) for your requested service. In other words, if your reply status was CONFIRMED, it can only be guaranteed confirmed for your actual use when you decide to pay for it on or before the OPTION date given. Once no purchase is made after the OPTION, your booking will automatically cancel and no confirmation is guaranteed should you decide to rebook.
|17. THE REPLY I GOT FOR MY BOOKINGS WAS "BOOK AND BUY". WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?|
"Book and Buy" is a term you may encounter for international tour packages only. This normally happens during super peak season when hotels are overbooked and their rooms are confirmed only upon pre-payment. In effect, our guests would have to make a non-refundable guarantee deposit once a booking is made. No OPTION is given already since once you decide to BOOK AND BUY , it's considered guaranteed confirmed and no refund is given for cancellation, whatever the reason may be.
In such cases, we suggest you get a Travel Insurance to protect your purchase when unforseen events occur.
