Dugong-watching, a professionally produced ecotourism activity, takes divers and
non-divers along the lengthy coast of Busuanga to see gentle dugongs in the wild. The Apo Reef Natural Park, with more than 20 dive sites, will truly fascinate you with its magnificent walls and large fish species. The reef plateau will surely impress divers and snorkelers alike. |

Relatively unknown before, its dive sites with 10 WWII shipwrecks currently located, and amazingly covered with marinelife, is now getting more known internationally. A Japanese fleet sunk here in 1944, its wrecks offering superb diving close by the shore, one of the best, being the Kyokuzan Maru. |

It requires a live-aboard trip to get to this superb diving, with Puerto Princesa as gateway airport. All areas characterized by dramatic drop-offs, heavy tropical coral growth and large populations of pelagic and resident species.Operations only run March to June due to exposure to monsoons. |
