Boracay Island
With it's world famous 7 km stretch of white sand beach. With swimming pool training facilities and clear blue shallow sea water Boracay is ideal to discover scuba diving. The majority of dives are boat based and its 20 dive sites are all within a 10-40 minutes journey. If you are after the big fish, then the drop-off at Yapak (30-60 mtrs, strong current) is the place. Crocodile Island and Laurel for example at the south end of the island are shallow wall and reef dives with beautiful corals and abundant marine life which are perfect for macro photography. |
